I’m Isabella Littleford—a professional fashion insider who’s spent years discovering how luxury blends with real-world fashion.
Backed by 10+ years in style and design, I’ve had the amazing opportunity of refining my expertise in Paris, fashion’s epicenter and collaborating with some of the most visionary designers in the world. A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also broken them in well that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.
So I’m answering a bunch of frequently asked questions, as well as how to grab https://www.ggoose.org/ them for less, below! Where could someone find Golden Goose sneakers?
Cettire had them on sale and I took advantage right away!
I ordered them on April 28th and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast – definitely a bonus
What’s the cost?
Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.
You can expect to pay between $410 and $1,700 depending on their uniqueness.
Are they true to size?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36.
They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up
Is the comfort worth it?
They required minimal break-in time..
How durable are they?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Absolutely! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
Where can I find them on sale?
Here are the spots I found most reliable. I had a 10/10 experience with GGoose.org, so I suggest them first.
- GGoose.org – the place where I found my pair!
- Gilt – membership is free!
- Vestiaire Collection – it also looks like they’re offering $50 off your APP first order of $150+ with code WELCOMEUS50
- The Real Real – an incredible source for new or gently used Golden Goose shoes at low prices
- Ebay – lots of fantastic deals on gently used pairs
- @likeabandit – she features many GG finds on her IG stories, be on the lookout
Where did you buy them?
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a great deal going on.

How much do they go for?
Back in April, I found a deal for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.
These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400–$1,700, depending on how decked out they are.
Do they fit as expected?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36. Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
Is the comfort worth it?
They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they help with airflow. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in synthetic materials. Plus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just slide in.
Do they hold up well?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong.
Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
